There’s always something to do in the garden, especially at this time of the year & being the novice gardeners we are, we’re always keen to pick up tips & tricks. Luckily for us there are lots of friends & venders happy to assist us & we are constantly coming home with some new piece of advice.

When we initially renovated our gravel pathways, we had a lot of people asking if we were putting down weed control fabric. However, due to the sheer surface area that we were covering & being on a tight budget we opted not to, choosing to put the money towards other renovation projects.

Fast forward a few months & after all our back breaking work of shifting & laying approximately 80 tonnes of gravel, slowly but surely the weeds started to appear.
